Relax and use the fully equipped kitchen, covered patio with wood-fired oven, fire pit, and reliable wifi. Ideal for a group of friends or family that seek quiet comfort, and majestic views. Just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute moto-taxi ride from Pisac.
The Space
The house has two floors, 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The second floor has a master bedroom double bed, balcony and private 1/2 bathroom. The first floor includes the second bedroom with bunk beds to sleep two, the main bathroom with hot shower and washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen and adjoining living room surrounded by window views of the Sacred Valley, Pisac and Taray. The 3rd bedroom is a separate guest suite adjacent to the house, which includes a private entrance, double bed, and private bathroom. The house includes Wifi service so that you can keep in touch with family and friends around the world.
Just outside the main entrance is a spacious patio area, a fire pit, and covered outdoor kitchen with ample seating and beautiful garden views.
Ccatachacra, the name of our property in Quechua, means "farm field on a slope." Our property is a large grassy, terraced hillside filled with peach, apple, plum and fig trees, vegetables, herbs and flowers. Our delicious, fresh spring water comes directly from the sacred mountain above us, Apu Linli.
This property is located in the "Juqui" sector, on the west side of Pisac, just above an archaeologically preserved site that includes ancient Incan terraces that still irrigate and grow fields of corn. Along these terraces is a wide Incan road that goes to the base of our property. Guests arrive here via a 20 minute walk from town or a 5 minute moto-taxi ride to the base of the property. Be aware that this property is not accessible by car and is therefore ideal for active travelers who enjoy walking. The absence of cars in this area offers guests peace and tranquility.
Guest access
The property gardens and paths are free to explore. The fire pit, patio and hammocks are available for your enjoyment. Wherever you choose to relax, the expansive mountain views will inspire and awe you.
